As our Client Success Manager, you’re the high-touch concierge guiding clients through every phase of their journey. You anticipate needs, manage deliverables, and bring in the right teammates to move things forward. Clients feel like they have a magical partner who always has their back, and that partner is you.

This role blends empathy, action, and precision. You’ll keep momentum alive, translate questions into answers, and ideas into progress. A working knowledge of M&A and a genuine passion for helping our clients become business owners are essential. Client Success Manager

  • Location: Remote (US Central Time hours)
  • Job Type: Contract, Full-Time
  • Travel: Not required
  • Salary Range: Negotiable


WHAT YOU'LL BE ACHIEVING

Client Relationship Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout their engagement
  • Build trust and rapport, making clients feel understood, cared for, and confident
  • Anticipate needs and provide proactive updates, resources, and clarity
  • Ensure no question goes unanswered and no request slips through the cracks
  • Support clients as they navigate the deal process by coordinating updates, keeping them on track to make offers and close, and pulling in the right expertise to provide advice when needed.

Strategic Coordination & Support

  • Own onboarding from start to finish; scheduling, guiding, and setting clear expectations
  • Track and manage all client-facing tasks, requests, and action items
  • Liaise with internal team members to route deliverables and maintain alignment
  • Prepare agendas and materials for key client calls and follow through on all outcomes

Internal Collaboration

  • Spot risks early; flag issues and propose solutions before they escalate
  • Loop in the specific team members when high-touch support is needed
  • Continuously refine internal playbooks and processes using client feedback
  • Partner cross-functionally to deliver a seamless, white-glove experience
  • Gather and relay client feedback to improve service delivery and outcomes, while continuously capturing and updating changes to their goals, preferences, and deal criteria.

Communication & Relationship Mastery

  • Articulate, thoughtful, and empathetic communicator

  • Comfortable advocating for clients while respecting team boundaries

Operational Excellence

  • Exceptional follow-through with a love for systems and structure
  • Sharp eye for detail and a strong bias toward action
  • Solutions-focused; you're calm under pressure and quick to troubleshoot

Business Acumen & Tech Fluency

  • Basic understanding of M&A concepts and terminology
  • Familiar with Slack, Zoom, Notion, HubSpot, and Google Workspace
  • Bonus: Experience working with founders, entrepreneurs, or in client-facing roles
