As Senior Executive Assistant, you will work directly with Athena Simpson, founder of AcquiMatch, and be deeply embedded in the engine of the business during a pivotal stage of growth.
This is a senior Executive Assistant role designed for someone who has experience supporting executives to perform at their highest. You are someone who operates with judgment, speed, and precision.
You will work closely with Athena in a role that blends executive support, operational coordination, and personal logistics. Making sure nothing important gets missed, forgotten, delayed, or dropped so Athena can focus on driving the business forward.
This role requires someone who can hold a high volume of context, think several steps ahead, and execute quickly without creating chaos or clean-up. You must be comfortable making decisions, setting boundaries, and representing the founder with confidence.
Over time, this role is designed to grow into a Chief of Staff–style partnership for the right person.

Athena Simpson is the founder of AcquiMatch and has over 25 years of experience as an entrepreneur, advisor, and high-performance expert across media, marketing, events, and strategic business operations.
From launching her own businesses to mentoring and advising startups, Fortune 500, FTSE 100 companies, and government entities, and lecturing at The University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business, Athena has cultivated a deep understanding of business dynamics and growth potential.
Her journey led her to acquire profitable businesses through her company, Unrestricted Ventures. Through her struggles to find businesses to buy, she started AcquiMatch, a personalized SMB acquisition search & match service within Unrestricted Ventures.
Athena often says, "business is my love language," and she applies a matchmaker philosophy to business buying, helping clients find businesses that match their desires and build their own legacy.
