HEAD OF OPERATIONS
JOB DESCRIPTION

A team-first Strategy and Operations leader responsible for scaling people, systems, and execution across the company.

  • Location: Remote, United States. Must be based primarily in the US and able to travel occasionally for strategy days, events, or key team sessions.
  • Job Type:  Full-time, operating on US Central Time hours.
  • Compensation: Base salary range of 165k to 185k per year, with performance incentives that bring total on-target earnings (OTE) into the 200k to 225k range. Final package depends on years of experience and proven ability to scale a service-based business.

MISSION

Your mission is to build the operating power that allows AcquiMatch to scale into the category leader in business buying. You will transform a strong foundation into a high-performance operating system that can scale fast. You will accelerate client outcomes, build the relational infrastructure that powers deal flow, and create the capacity to serve more clients without losing our white-glove experience. You will lead the people who run our engine, coaching, developing, and elevating a team to perform at a world-class level as we scale.

WHAT YOU'LL BE ACHIEVING

Lead & Grow a High-Performance Team

  • Manage & support our delivery team so they operate with clarity, confidence, and speed
  • Lead and develop a growing cross-functional team across operations, delivery, advisory, and client experience
  • Develop team members into stronger communicators & problem solvers
  • Create a culture of ownership, accountability, and excellence
  • Develop roles, recruit, hire, and onboard new talent as the team grows
  • Remove single points of failure so the company can scale safely

Scale Our Operating System

  • Strengthen workflows, communication, and handoffs across AIsystems, advisory, analysis, coordination, and off-market
  • Strengthen and scale our tech stack so systems, AI tools, and internal platforms integrate smoothly and support high-volume, high-quality delivery.
  • Use AI to automate the repetitive, manual work so our team can deliver a higher-level, white-glove, relationship-driven concierge experience at scale.
  • Make the client journey smoother, faster, and easier to execute
  • Build systems that let us serve more clients without losing quality
  • Create team rhythms that keep everyone aligned on what matters
  • Ensure internal tools & processes support speed, clarity, and consistency

Build a Relational Engine

  • Help the team nurture thousands of conversations while still feeling personal
  • Build relationship tracking that feels natural, not robotic
  • Shift the company from transactional interactions to relational influence
  • Empower the team to build trust that unlocks deal flow and industry reputation
  • Lay the groundwork for brokers coming to us first

Own & Drive High-Impact Strategic Projects

  • Own mission-critical initiatives including AI development and implementation, off-market optimization, new product rollouts, and scaling our capacity to serve more clients.
  • Turn strategic ideas into clear execution plans with owners and timelines
  • Push projects to completion so they actually land and stay operational
  • Work cross-functionally to deliver results that move the company forward

Elevate Client Education & Onboarding

  • Work with founder to design training that makes the acquisition journey easier for clients
  • Build internal onboarding & enablement that uplevel the team quickly
  • Make complex steps feel simple, structured, and easy to follow
  • Improve communication skillsets across the entire delivery org

Turn Data Into Action

  • Turn large data sets into clear, simple insights the team can use immediately
  • Track deal velocity, client progression, off-market output, and relationship activity
  • Build reporting that improves decisions and removes guesswork
  • Use data to anticipate bottlenecks before they happen and implement systems and SOP’s to prevent or manage bottlenecks

Multiply the Founder’s Capacity

  • You will own the operational strategy required to implement the founder’s broader vision, turning strategy into systems the team can execute.
  • Take team management, operational problem solving, and project oversight off the founder’s plate
  • Turn vision into systems the team can execute

  • Free the founder to focus on brand, sales, partnerships, strategy, and scale
